We are looking for a Permitting & Regulatory Compliance Specialist II to join our growing team in Kent, WA.
Pay is DOE: $35-$40/hr

Permitting & Regulatory Compliance Specialist II Job Responsibilities:
- Understand fuel design and fuel facility operations
- Administer Programs assigned by Manager
- Delegate tasks to Permitting & Compliance Specialist I and Administrative Assistant based on their individual strengths and abilities and availability
- Review agency comments and provide in depth equipment process descriptions and responses
- Effectively communicate with clients to define project requirements, scopes, and objectives that align with organizational goals
- Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope or timeline to achieve optimal results
- Report project risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels, and escalate issues according to project work plan
- Serve as point of communication between company teams and external resources
- Deepen partnerships with outside resources, including agency contacts, clients, and third-party vendors
- Investigate potential violations through audits
- Recommend effective and prompt strategies/solutions for driving/improving environmental compliance
- Conduct regulatory analysis on the applicability and impact of environmental regulations, including new and proposed regulations
- Analyze statistics and prepare specific program administration directives
- Attend meetings held by regulators and provide feedback and direction to client and team
Permitting & Regulatory Compliance Specialist II Job Requirements:
- Combination of at least 5 years of relevant experience in a construction, permitting, regulatory compliance field, supplemented by business/office courses, Class A/B Operator Certification, associate degree, bachelor's degree
- Strong attention to detail
- Interpersonal excellence, and a sense of curiosity, entrepreneurship, proactivity, and a commitment to quality
