As an Intern, you will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance and urgent repairs on mechanical components, diagnosing machinery malfunctions, and implementing effective repairs.
Requirements
- Have graduated with a bachelor’s or master’s degree certificate in either Mechanical engineering technology, industrial maintenance, or specialized training in electronics, hydraulics, information technology or a related field within the last 2 years.
- Have maintained a GPA grade greater than or equal to 3 out of 5.0 or the equivalent from the graduating university.
- Be fluent in oral and written English
- Have the legal right to work in Angola without restrictions.
- Be smart, have good communication skills (written, speaking, listening), right attitude, right mindset, right character and eager to learn.
- Proven experience in subsea controls, Ability to read and interpret schematics, P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), and technical sketches OR understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and troubleshooting techniques, Strong blueprint reading skills, analytical problem-solving, and basic computer skills for reporting
- Ability to travel internationally and work in remote offshore locations.
