What you'll do

  • Partner with Software Delivery Platform Product and Architect leaders driving the evolution of the Software Delivery platform offering
  • Own the administration and lifecycle management of Azure DevOps, including agent pool provisioning, pipeline governance, and access control models
  • Define through code and tooling the enforcement of access management policies across projects, repositories, and pipelines—simplifying onboarding and reducing provisioning delays
  • Be the voice of automation and the reduction of toil in helping us build robust Software Delivery platform solutions
  • Collaborate with SRE, security, and platform teams to integrate external tools into the CI/CD ecosystem for enhanced code quality and security
  • Support the development and maturity of our Software Delivery Platform, working across a wide influence base including Application Engineering, SRE, Product, and Architecture
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design performant delivery platforms and systems to support the evolving needs of our internal engineering customers
  • Proposes, reviews, and deploys infrastructure architecture changes to ensure the most cost effective, resilient, stable operations
  • Mentor engineers on best practices for pipeline design, containerized build strategies, and secure deployment automation.
  • Contribute to roadmap planning for platform engineering initiatives, including agent pool migrations, DR-compliant configurations, and deprecation of unsupported services
  • Collaborate on the creation of KPIs to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement in cloud financial operations

What we're looking for

  • 7+ years of experience in a Platform, Software, or DevOps Engineering or DevOps Advocacy role
  • Ego free Customer Obsessed mindset – bringing a unique blend of knowledge of Platform delivery practices and engineering pragmatism
  • Proven track record in administration and governance of Azure DevOps in use as a unifying platform supporting multiple engineering and product teams within the Software Delivery Lifecycle.
  • Expertise writing production code with an industry standard programming language using Agile methodologies
  • Expertise practicing Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code techniques
  • Expertise managing multiple code bases in Git
  • Expertise creating Continuous Integration builds and deployment automation
  • Expertise building Cloud Native applications in a major public cloud
  • Expertise implementing observability, application monitoring, and log aggregation solutions
  • Expertise working with cross functional teams to provide DevOps inspired solutions
  • Proficiency in the how modern software development teams plan, build, and deliver software
  • Experience in modern change management processes and optimizing bottlenecks
  • Expertise in .NET development stack having built, deployed, and supported Cloud native applications
  • Experience with various Architecture frameworks across the Pillars of Reliability, Security, Cost Optimization, Operational Excellence, and Performance

Additional skills and experience we're looking for

  • University Degree in a computing related field or equivalent experience
  • Expertise with provisioning resources in Azure with Terraform
  • Expertise with containers and container orchestration, particularly Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • Expertise with PowerShell or Python with advanced scripting experience
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Developer Associate, and/or Azure Administrator Associater
