WHAT WE DO

We are set up to provide our customers with end-to-end support in the process of developing software solutions:

  • Business need analysis, design of functional and non-functional requirements, system analysis, support for business transformation and IT/business consultancy;
  • User interface and experience design and development for mobile and desktop applications;
  • Front and back-end development in a wide range of technologies: Java, .Net, Ruby, GoLang, Oracle, Python.
  • Complete Data Warehouse solutions from architecture, design and implementation using mainly Vertica, Oracle and Microsoft platforms.
  • Avalanche has been the central counterparty for multiple major banking projects in the Scandinavia and Baltics, in areas such as lending automation, regulatory reporting and calculations, integrations, governance, risk and compliance, Basel II/III, Stress Testing, AML/KYC.

Avalanche Labs is looking forDWH Engineers to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data warehouses and enterprise data management systems. You will work closely with business stakeholders and data analysts to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions that meet performance, scalability, and security standards.

You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across industries, with an initial focus on the Banking sector. The project involves BI and DWH tasks, such as developing BI reporting solutions, including the development of data sourcing for various banking regulatory credit reports. You'll be a part of a team of our consultants.

As a DWH Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality technology solutions that meet our clients' needs. DO YOU HAVE...

πŸ’« 3+ years of experience in DWH or ETL development;

πŸ’« Hands-on experience with DWH platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, Hadoop;

πŸ’« Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL programming languages;

πŸ’« Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, DataStage, or SSIS;

πŸ’« Familiarity with API development and integration technologies such as REST, SOAP, and JSON;

πŸ’« Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Specific Skills and Tools:

πŸ’« Proficiency in Oracle and Teradata DWH database;

πŸ’« Experience with Oracle Data Integration (ODI) for ETL tasks;

πŸ’« Familiarity with Erwin for data modeling;

πŸ’« SQL for Data Analysis;

πŸ’« Experience using collaboration tools such as Confluence, JIRA, and Git;

πŸ’« Knowledge of additional full stack tools including Teradata SQL Assistant, Oracle Database, EDW-Board, Jenkins, Tivoli Scheduler, Visual Studio, Bit Bucket, ERwin, Jira, and Procreg.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

πŸš€ Design, develop, and maintain DWH and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) solutions;

πŸš€ Collaborate with business stakeholders and data analysts to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions;

πŸš€ Develop and maintain data models and database schemas that support business processes and analytics;

πŸš€ Develop and maintain data integration and API solutions;

πŸš€ Build automated testing and validation frameworks to ensure data quality and accuracy;

πŸš€ Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, such as missing or incorrect data;

πŸš€ Document technical designs, processes, and procedures.
