We are hiring at Klopotek for a User Documentation and Internationalization Associate to join our team in Germany!

The successful User Documentation and Internationalization Associate will be part of our highly motivated Research and Development team.

Publishers bring stories, new perspectives, knowledge, and exchange to our society. As different as they are, they have a lot in common: in the background, products are planned and calculated, rights are clarified, contracts are concluded with authors, translators and illustrators are involved, distribution channels are used, appearances at events are planned, and so on and so forth. What your day will look like:

• Reinforcement of the team 'Documentation and Internationalization'
• Participation in agile software development projects
• Organization, creation, and editorial processing of standard and product documentation
• Manage the Localization of the user interface as well as terminology work
• Manage the Translation of the resulting documentation
• Analyzing and finding a solution for technical and non-technical problems reported to you
• Assisting people in other departments with your specific knowledge

About You:

• At least a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is highly desirable
• At least a professional level of German and English is essential
• Successfully completed studies in Technical Documentation or comparable qualification
• Proficient in writing software documentation using editorial systems (e.g. CMS)
• Experience in agile software development projects
• Basic knowledge in the use of JIRA and Confluence for task and project tracking
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office products
• Knowledge of publishing industry processes is advantageous
• Enjoy working with and for customers from various sectors of the publishing world
• Combine an analytical mindset with great attention to detail; you have a hands-on mentality and strong problem-solving skills
• It is easy for you to set and manage priorities in a structured manner
• Communicate in an engaging and transparent way
• Approach to work is analytical, efficient, flexible, and customer-oriented; you are an open-minded person and a team player
• Legally authorized to work in Germany
