Aspire Software is currently looking for an Software Implementation Consultant to join our team in Canada!

Our Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality (EHSQ) vertical at Aspire Software develops software solutions for global enterprises with complex engineering assets and regulated processes, enabling them to seamlessly plan, manage, and control their operations whilst ensuring regulatory compliance. Our global customer base includes Fortune 500 companies in the Oil and Gas, Chemical Process, Food, Beverage and Pharmaceuticals, Nuclear, Energy, and Manufacturing sectors. With over two decades of expertise, we help our global clients succeed by improving quality, safety, productivity, compliance, operational risk management, and operational excellence results.

The Software Implementation Consultant plays a critical role in our EHSQ SaaS solutions. The mission of the role is to provide guidance and insight in the configuration and delivery of Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) solutions throughout the project lifecycle. The core purpose is to understand customer needs and utilize the expertise of our solutions to suggest how best to configure and utilize the application to bring value to the customer.

Here is a little window into our company: Aspire Software, the operational arm of Valsoft Corp, operates and manages Valsoft’s global portfolio of wholly owned software companies, providing mission-critical solutions across multiple verticals. By implementing industry best practices, Aspire delivers a time-sensitive integration process, and the operation of a decentralized model has allowed it to become a hub for creating rapid growth by reinvesting in its portfolio.

The successful candidate will be based anywhere in Canada, working in a remote work model or from any of our offices in Canada!

What your day will look like:

  • Develop a firm understanding of our products, to the degree of becoming a super user
  • Demonstrate multiple ways our products can bring value to customers
  • Work closely with customers to obtain an in-depth understanding of the business, organizational structure, processes, systems, and procedures
  • Deliver customer demonstrations, workshops, and training for our products and solutions
  • Communicate regularly with customers throughout the project life cycle to assess customer needs, enhancement opportunities, and project delivery success
  • Create and deliver presentations, training materials and test plans
  • Understand and meet budgetary expectations of the project by striving to deliver projects on budget and on time while meeting all scope requirements
  • Ability to travel up to 50% (both domestically and internationally)

About You:

  • At least 1+ years experience in Software Implementation Solutions in a customer consulting role
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is essential
  • Passionate about customer success - delivers exceptional customer service, whether online or face-to-face
  • Self-starter, detail oriented and deadline-driven in a fast-paced service environment
  • Adapt and learn new programs and systems with minimal supervision
  • Flexible and easily adaptable to change
  • Thrive on personal achievements and team successes and contribute to the growth of the company
  • Highly organized and can prioritize when required to balance multiple clients and business needs
  • Excellent communication, presentation and training abilities, including active listening skills, to a wide variety of audiences
  • Highly Proficiency with MS Office products
  • Must be able to travel internationally
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • A 'roll up the sleeves' attitude towards problem-solving
  • Being fluent in English, both written and verbal, is essential
  • Legally authorised to work in Canada

Other Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Process Safety Management (PSM) systems and tools currently in use within the Oil and Gas, Chemical, Aviation, Nuclear and/or Power Generation industries
  • Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) experience
  • Professional membership and/or certifications in EHS, Engineering, Project Management, Business Analysis, or related industry groups
