In 2023, a group of former Bundeswehr (German Armed Forces) officers recognized a critical gap in modern security infrastructure: as drones became increasingly accessible and dangerous - whether as weapons, surveillance tools, or threats to critical infrastructure - existing counter-drone solutions remained inadequate. Many systems caused secondary damage through debris or could not safely recover target drones for forensic analysis. The founders decided to leverage their military expertise and partnerships with German universities to create a better solution.

ARGUS Interception GmbH emerged from this vision as a pioneering German technology company specializing in net-based, minimally invasive C-UAS (Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System) interception technology. The company's flagship product, the A1-FALKE® net interception drone, represents a breakthrough in controlled drone defense - capturing unauthorized drones with precision nets and recovering them intact for forensic evaluation, without causing the collateral damage associated with traditional methods. Headquartered in Rotenburg (Wümme), Germany, the company develops and manufactures all technology domestically, serving armed forces, government agencies, and operators of critical infrastructure such as airports, power plants, and border installations.
