As the HCP Experience Lead, you are accountable for the commercial success of VYVGARTacross multiple indications and Therapeutic Areas (TAs),delivering on the successful launch ofour late-stage assets Empasiprubart, Adimanebart, andpreparingthe organization forfuture argenx products, acrossmultipleindicationsandTAs.You will achieve this mission by leading the development and execution of an integrated HCP Commercial engagement strategy, empoweringthe HCPmarketingteamand field-facing teams and communitiesacross the argenx ecosystem.Provide key strategicadvice to multiple Indication Strategy Teams and may serve asaCommercialization Asset Strategy LeadacrossmultipleTAs.Youwill be partnering closely with ourDevelopment andGlobalCommercializationTeams to enable successful launches acrossour long horizon vision.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic leadership

  • Drive the development and execution of an integrated HCP Commercial engagement strategy across the VYVGARTportfolio in the US

  • Responsible for the delivery of end-to-endpersonalizedcustomer journeys for all HCP community stakeholders to drive HCP awareness and adoption 

  • Accountable for local markets and US commercial performance of VYVGART measured by VYVGART revenue as well as holistic patient impact across the entire patient journey, fromappropriate diagnosis, treatment decision, treatment fulfillment, to adherence and disease management 

  • Responsible for the development and deployment of fit-for-purpose personal and non-personal channels, enabled by digital and omnichannel capabilities and data-driven insights, across indications, therapeuticareasand US geographies 

  • Accountable forcoaching andsupporting variousintegratedIndication Strategy Teams (ISTs) all working todeliver onperformance of VYVGART in-lineindicationsand future launcheswith specific TAfocus(e.g., neurology,rheumatology). The Indication Strategy Team(IST)is a team of senior, cross-functional strategic leaders (across HCP Commercial Marketing, Field, Market Access, Science & Medicine, Consumer Marketing,PSP(Patient Support Programs)) empowered to make indication-level strategic decisions.Providing support or at times leading an IST.The ISTis responsible forproving an integrated TA-level perspective,facilitatingand mediating discussion,identifyingwhen a broader perspective (e.g., US LT) isrequired, andmaking a decisionin rare cases when the Team cannot align

  • Partners closely with our Digital Team (DT) and relevant stakeholders to provide strategic leadershipto elevate our Digital Roadmap and Capabilities

  • Ensure customer-centricity throughout the VYVGART US Commercial strategy and execution by elevating the medical community stakeholder voice to the US LT 

Development and execution of Commercial HCP engagement strategy

  • Co-create a seamless HCP sales and marketing strategy, imperatives and tactics with Strategic Business Leads from local markets and HCP Commercial Marketing Indication Leads 

  • Create andmaintaina single identity of VYVGART to customers through consistent messaging, product positioning, and commercial engagement

  • Elevate best engagement practices from local markets into US-wide sales capabilities, and provide targeted coaching, guidance, and intervention when needed

  • Define differentiated omnichannel HCP sales and marketing engagement approach building on holistic customer insights, agile contentcreationand review (e.g., modular content), and digital / omnichannel engines

  • Enable seamless coordination of strategy execution acrossindication, TA, and field teams byprovidingtimelyguidance, coaching and thought partnership

  • Ensureappropriate resourcingfor HCP engagement by working together with other US LT members (e.g., Science & Medicine, Market Access, Patient Experience) toallocateresources across Commercial, Medical, Access and Patient for eachindicationand VYVGART overall 

Team leadership and capability building

  • Lead and inspire a cross-functional HCP Experience team, including HCP Commercial marketing, sales,TLLs(Thought Leader Liaisons)and digital / omnichannel expertpartnersby providing strategic direction and oversight

  • Foster and support strategic partnerships with various stakeholders to enhance customer engagement capability and effectiveness 

  • Define core performance metrics that align with US organizational strategic goals and priorities for different teams and communities within HCP Experience, and provide oversight and intervention for organizational performance against the metrics 

  • Define strategic vision of the next generation of Digital, Omnichannel and other innovative capabilities to support seamless HCP journeys in personal and non-personal channels, build differentiated competitive advantage for argenx US

  • Champion deployment of new capabilities and argenx ways of working within HCP Experience teams and across the entire US organization 

  • Attract, coach, develop andretaina wide range of customer-facing and non-customer facing roles, including roles who are part of HCP Experience and roles who have dotted-line reporting relationship

SKILLSANDCOMPETENCIES

  • In-depth knowledge of HCP customer journeys and needs, funnel-based customer insights, commercial engagementapproachand commercial launch 

  • In-depth knowledge of P&L management for HCP engagement 

  • Fluency in data-driven decision making and ability to translate data & analytics insights into strategic implications and imperatives 

  • In-depth understanding of the intricacies and nuances of complex biologics, medical benefit, andbuy-and-billas it relates to commercial strategy

  • Strong understanding of best-in-class digital, omnichannel, agile content creation and review, and data & analytics capabilities within and outside of life sciences 

  • Distinctive strategic thinking,problem-solvingand analytical skills, withdemonstratedability to adapt to rapidly changing internal and external markets

  • Strong leadership presence and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire, influence and motivate teams in a non-hierarchical culture and role model agile ways of working 

  • Flexible to travel based on business needs

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCEANDQUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS degreerequired; advanced degree in a relevant field (MBA, PhD, etc.) preferred

  • Seasoned Commercial leader in biotech or pharmaceutical industry with a minimum of 15 years of total industry experience, inclusive of 5-7 years of senior leadership experience 

  • Extensive experience with commercial customer engagement strategy and execution, including the P&L 

  • Direct experience with complex biologics, medical benefit, and the buy-and-bill model

  • Extensive experience in product launch, preferably in rare diseases 

  • Track recordof effectively and compliantly leading cross-functional teams in a matrix organization with a variety of clinical, technical, and business backgrounds

  • Track recordof successfully working in cross-functional senior-level teams with a diverse set ofexpertiseto jointly drive strategic initiatives

  • Experience in leading arapidly-scalingand evolving organization

  • Experience in managing strategic partnerships and relationships with national and regional stakeholders

For applicants in the United States: The annual base salary hiring range for this position is $356,000.00 - $489,500.00 USD. This range reflects our good faith estimate at the time of posting. Individual compensation is determined using objective, inclusive, and job-related criteria such as relevant experience, skills, demonstrated competencies and internal equity. This means actual pay may differ from the posted range when justified by these factors. Because market conditions evolve, pay ranges are reviewed regularly and may be adjusted to remain aligned with external benchmarks.

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term and long-term incentive programs, subject to the terms and conditions of those plans and applicable policies. It also includes a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to retirement savings plans, health benefits and other benefits subject to the terms of the applicable plans and program guidelines.
