As a Payroll Manager at ARETUM, you will be responsible for overseeing the payroll function and ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees.

Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the payroll team, providing guidance and support in day-to-day operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees.
- Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Review and reconcile payroll data, including deductions, withholdings, and company contributions.
- Ensure accuracy of payroll calculations and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports, including earnings statements, tax forms, and other related documents.
- Stay updated on payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate employee data and information.
- Manage and respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Payroll Manager, preferably in the government contracting industry.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing procedures, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes.
- Familiarity with payroll software and systems.
- Working knowledge of relevant payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Experience managing a payroll team and overseeing payroll operations.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive payroll information.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
