Business Analyst/Product Owner

Aretum is looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Business Analyst/Product Owner. As a Business Analyst/Product Owner at Aretum, you will be responsible for capturing and defining detailed business requirements and acting as a liaison between stakeholders and the development team. You will have the opportunity to shape and prioritize product features, ensuring successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a strong IT Business Analyst and Product Owner for one or more large, complex projects with high value to the organization
• Works with cross-functional, self-managed development teams and various stakeholders, including analytics, design/user experience, engineering, and user enablement
• Build and maintain Agile (Scrum / Sprint) team backlog with input from various team members
• Collaborate with other Product Owners, Agile teams, and business owners to gather requirements, creating a shared understanding with stakeholders
• Write user stories and requirements that include clear acceptance criteria
• Facilitate meetings with development and quality assurance teams to drive the implementation of all functional and non-functional requirements to completion
• Participate in testing when needed
• Review completed work products prior to delivery

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio)
• Certified Agile Product Owner or Scrum Master a plus
• Minimum Secret Security Clearance (or Interim) is required before start.
• IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE, GICSP, CND, or equivalent) is required before start.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experienced in full life cycle hands on development and implementation of enterprise applications, web-based applications.
• 5+ years of working with software development teams in an Agile environment
• 5+ years experience as scrum master, product owner, QA Tester, software developer or business analyst
• Experience with JIRA/Confluence or similar tools.
