Join us as a: Workspace Support Engineer
In this role you’ll get to:
Provide advanced support and advice to clients on the Google Workspace platform, managing your workload independently and proactively.
Handle enquiries professionally and within agreed service level agreements.
Contribute to continual improvement of service and prepare regular reports if required.
Deliver clear and understandable training to team members and customers on Google Workspace.
Support Workspace Deployment Specialists and Collaboration Engineers with their project work.
Actively learn and share knowledge to strengthen the team’s expertise.
Provide on-call support for clients outside normal working hours via a rota system.
What you’ll need to succeed:
At least 2 years of experience in a support or operations environment, preferably in a 2nd line or customer-facing service desk/helpdesk role.
Strong understanding of service management principles, including ticket types, SLAs, and prioritization.
Ability to analyse and methodically resolve problems.
Ability to adapt to different stakeholders and build trust quickly.
Capability to perform multiple tasks across different technical environments.
Basic knowledge of change management principles and their relation to projects.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Confidence with technology and the internet.
Technical expertise with Google Workspace is desirable.
Familiarity with Zendesk or comparable ticketing systems.
It’s Great if you have:
Experience in SaaS/IaaS platforms, specifically Google Cloud technologies.
Experience in applying technology to resolve customer issues.
