Join us as a: Data Engineer

What you’ll do:

• Pipeline & Infrastructure Management: Design, build, and maintain automated data pipelines for ingestion, ETL/ELT processes, and storage.

• System Monitoring: Perform regular checks to ensure data pipelines and ML models are working correctly while monitoring infrastructure for availability, correctness, and performance.

• Customer Advisory: Act as a technical lead and trusted advisor, translating complex business requirements into technical specifications.

• Data Modeling & Quality: Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to design and optimize data models that support reporting and analytics.

• Support & Escalation: Serve as an escalation point for support teams, handling customer issues and facilitating necessary patches or fixes for data platforms.

• Process Improvement: Identify areas for service improvement regarding tools and internal KPIs to provide a consistent MSP experience.

• Knowledge & Mentorship: Create and maintain team knowledge materials and provide mentorship to junior colleagues to ensure smooth delivery across teams.

What Success looks like:

• Cloud Platforms: Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is preferred, though experience with other major providers like AWS is valued.

• Programming & SQL: Strong expertise in Python (specifically Pandas, NumPy, and Airflow) and proficiency in SQL, particularly BigQuery SQL.

• Data Tools: Familiarity with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark), workflow orchestration (Apache Airflow/Cloud Composer), and version control (Git).

• Analytics: Experience with dashboard analytics tools such as Looker (Studio), PowerBI, or Tableau.

• Machine Learning: Basic familiarity with ML concepts, algorithms, and tools.

• Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal English, a "can-do" attitude, and the ability to work both independently and as a proactive team player
