Key Responsibilities
- Strategic planning and traffic acquisition: developing and optimizing the UA strategy, forming and testing hypotheses, running experiments, evaluating results, monitoring and analyzing key metrics, forming development recommendations
- Team management and development: leading UA managers and analysts, conducting assessments and feedback session, creating individual development plans, motivating the team, mentoring junior specialists
- Cross-functional collaboration: working closely with creative teams, analysts, game producers, BI/DU teams, contributing to marketing strategy development, proposing product improvements related to audience acquisition, maintaining relationships with key partners
- Budget management and efficiency: planning and controlling UA budgets according to KPIs and goals, transparent reporting, deviation analysis (actual vs. benchmark), justifying results, proposing strategic adjustments, presenting outcomes to management
- Analytics and automation: building and maintaining metric systems, setting up automated dashboards and reports (Tableau, Power BI), deep channel analytics, understanding algorithms and audience specifics, statistical hypothesis testing (A/B tests, sample analysis, confidence intervals) together with the analytics team
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- 3+ years of experience in mobile performance marketing (gaming industry required)
- Solid understanding of marketing and product metrics, as well as campaign optimization methods
- Practical experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) and MMPs (AppsFlyer, Adjust, etc.)
- Understanding of gaming market specifics: monetization funnels, key retention metrics, ARPU, player behavioral patterns, product lifecycle, retention principles
- SQL skills (preferred) – ability to write queries for data extraction and processing.
- Mathematical statistics (preferred) — hypothesis testing, understanding samples and statistical significance
- Python / R (required, basic) – ability to automate routine tasks, work with APIs, configure alerts
- Understanding of auction mechanics in performance channels
- Experience leading a team: task prioritization, performance control, building a culture of continuous improvement
- Ability to mentor, motivate, and develop specialists; strong cross-team collaboration skills
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher – for effective negotiations, market analysis, and communication with international partners partners
