Senior Accountant, Revenue

What you’ll do:

• Perform month-end closing, create timely and accurate accounting reports.
• Develop recommendations to optimise company’s accounting systems and procedures and detect inaccuracies.
• Support and consult company’s personnel on accounting control procedures.
• Review and manage accounts receivable, perform duties including account reconciliation, computation of revenue/deferred revenue, and review of revenue trends.
• Reviews and enhances the monthly balance sheet account reconciliations on an ad-hoc basis for Revenue related accounts and assists senior analysts & analysts in researching differences.
• Interact with external auditors to gather relevant support and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis as necessary to support business partners.
• Analyse and perform related analysis of existing revenue streams and arrangements and perform ad-hoc analysis as necessary to support business partners to identify risks and opportunities for improvements.
• Interacts with Customer Insights team and other departments to make sure an accurate revenue
• Do a revenue reconciliation across multiple systems.
• Uses their financial and accounting experience and acumen to analyse and interpret data to make any recommendations on possible courses of action as appropriate.
• Effectively engages the team to successfully complete multiple and diverse deliverables.
• Other ad-hoc assignments from Line Manager.

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor Degree and/or Master Degree in Accounting and finance or related field is required. ACCA/CPA/CMA background with Big4 is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting/Audit and Finance.
• Experience in the technology – Software as a Service and/or e-commerce operation strongly desired.
• Experience with Netsuite Oracle is preferred.
• Problem solver, self-starter, can-do attitude and intellectual curiosity.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
• Comfortable working with large datasets.
• Working knowledge of Alteryx or other data analytics platform is a plus.
