We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Head of Digital Transformation, playing a pivotal role in shaping Amey’s future digital and AI‐driven capabilities. This is a full‐time, permanent position offering remote working. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the AI & Digital Efficiency Programme, creating a streamlined, data‐driven operating model and directly influencing how the Transport Infrastructure business function, delivers services now and in the future.

Requirements

  • Immersing yourself in Transport Infrastructure operations to understand current processes, pain points, and opportunities for digital or AI‐enabled improvement.
  • Evaluating end‐user needs to ensure digital tools genuinely enhance workflows, usability, and operational efficiency.
  • Staying up to date with emerging AI, automation, and digital technologies, identifying where they can drive measurable value.
  • Leading transformation initiatives from discovery through to delivery, including process analysis, solution design, business case development, implementation, and performance monitoring.
  • Standardising and optimising existing systems and processes to create consistency and reduce waste, not simply introducing new technology.
  • Challenging entrenched ways of working and influencing behavioural change across diverse teams and levels of the organisation.
  • Advancing the ambition to create a unified, integrated digital ecosystem that replaces the current landscape of multiple tools.
  • Overseeing trials, pilots, and full rollouts end‐to‐end, ensuring solutions are tested, adopted, and embedded successfully.
