The Event Manager is responsible for all elements of the end to end management of an event, including sourcing, group air, logistics, financial management and delivery.

What you'll be doing:

  • Will run their own events end to end, these would range in type and size but unlikely to run a large complex event
  • Will support the Senior Meeting Planner on the large complex roles – i.e. will take an element e.g. meeting rooms and coordinate this part of the meeting
  • Website build end to end
  • Policy management - risk and Health & Safety analysis, crisis management, and contingency planning
  • Budget management – manage medium-large sized budgets, maintain working versions, process supplier and client invoices, manage cash flow and payment schedules
  • Supplier management - negotiate and execute supplier contracts
  • May manage a junior on a project by project basis, not a line manager
  • Onsite either part of a team or on their own
  • Likely to attend pitch presentations when pitching for new business.
  • Experience in managing events for a pharmaceutical supplier
