JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a Product Manager to lead our team in meeting business needs and delighting customers through efficient software engineering practices. The ideal candidate will excel in managing the product development lifecycle, achieving time-to-market and value targets, and providing technical leadership. Responsibilities also include taking ownership of budgetary aspects like project profitability, sales revenue, and training budgets to drive successful outcomes and support business growth.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS /MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cross-functionally drive development and launch of the product from concept to delivery.
- Defines and writes technical and functional specifications including requirements and detailed use cases for new product features.
- Explains designs and constraints to stakeholders, writing User Stories for Dev teams.
- Work with engineering, QA, professional services, and technical operations during design and implementation to shape the technical feature set and usability of the product and ensure the highest quality products delivered on-time, on budget and with superior performance and support.
- Analyzes and ensures performance requirements are met.
- Reviews test plans with software quality assurance team.
- Collects and manages requirements from all stakeholders for one or more products across multiple product generations,
- Synthesizes requirements from the various stakeholders.
- Plans and manages execution of product roadmaps, development schedules and product/component designs
- Manages the cross functional compatibility of software, hardware, and firmware for the solution
- Coordinates business and contractual arrangements with partners
- Trains and supports others on functional area related topics
- Supports advisory boards, user groups and SIGs as needed
