Electrical Standards Engineer

We're looking for an experienced Electrical Standards Engineer to support the delivery of a high-profile smart grid infrastructure project in the UK. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of UK electrical regulations and a proven track record in creating and reviewing SLDs, cable sizing, and equipment layouts.

Requirements

• Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in HV electrical design (11kV–33kV).
• Strong working knowledge of UK electrical regulations, including DNO and IDNO design standards.
• Proficient in using CAD or electrical design tools (e.g. AutoCAD Electrical, PowerFactory).
• Excellent communication skills for working with design, planning, and project delivery teams.
