As a strategic leader, you will collaborate across business, technical, and product teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that support critical business processes across sales, service, and customer operations.
What that means day-to-day:
Architect and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom platform apps.
Lead the design and execution of integration strategies between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, event base solution, middleware tools (e.g., Mulesoft), and direct AWS services.
Define architecture for event-driven and real-time integrations, including AWS Lambda, S3, SQS/SNS, and API Gateway.
Translate complex business requirements into architecture blueprints and detailed technical designs.
Own technical governance for Salesforce solutions—driving best practices for code quality, data security, and compliance.
Oversee and contribute to DevOps processes for Salesforce using tools like Gearset, Copado, or AutoRABIT.
Collaborate with enterprise architects to align Salesforce with broader enterprise cloud strategy (AWS preferred).
Ensure high standards of performance, scalability, and resilience across platforms and integrations.
Develop and maintain architectural documentation, decision logs, and reusable frameworks.
Mentor Salesforce developers and admins, and provide leadership across multi-disciplinary teams.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of Salesforce architecture and platform development experience, with a proven ability to design end-to-end enterprise-grade solutions.
- Extensive hands-on experience in Apex, LWC, Flows, and Salesforce data modeling.
- Strong experience integrating Salesforce with external platforms, including ERP, custom systems, and cloud-based services (AWS preferred).
- Expertise in Salesforce APIs, platform limits, security model, and governor limits.
- Deep understanding of cloud-native services in AWS—such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, and event-driven patterns.
- Working knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools tailored for Salesforce (e.g., Gearset, Copado).
- Exceptional communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional architecture decisions in large programs.
Required Certifications
- Salesforce Platform Developer I (required)
- Application Architect or System Architect (preferred)
- Integration Architecture Designer, Sharing & Visibility Designer (nice to have)
Bonus Skills
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with Salesforce org strategy, M&A platform consolidation
