As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer supporting Digital Vision Care Team, you will be trusted to work on integrating security practices and principles into the software development and operations processes, with the goal of ensuring that components and infrastructure are secure, compliant, and resilient. In this role, a typical day will include:

• Collaborating with Cloud Infrastructure and Security teams to ensure organizational best practices are followed.
• Ensure continuous availability of various DevOps tools supporting SCM & Release Management including Source Control, Containerization, Continuous Integration, & Change Management.
• Define and evolve Build & Release best practice by working within teams and educating the other stakeholder teams. These best practices should support traceability & auditability of change.
• Manage, operate, and secure Development, QA/Test, UAT/Validation, and Production environments, ensuring proper stability, reliability, and performance.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and operation of CI/CD pipelines to streamline software development, deployment, and release processes, and continuously improve them with advanced automation, targeted monitoring, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school+15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)

● 7 Years of Relevant Experience

• The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Travel Requirements: 10% Domestic/International

● Work Location: Remote-US
