Germany onlyAs a Data Scientist at AIPERIA, you will develop AI models to reduce food waste and improve profitability in the retail industry by building robust forecasting models and ensuring recommendations are scalable, stable, and measurable. You will work on feature engineering, re-training, monitoring, and MLOps, as well as data pipelines and production readiness, ad-hoc analysis, and code quality.
Requirements
- Completed studies in data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, business informatics, or a comparable quantitative field.
- 2-4 years of professional experience as a data scientist with a focus on machine learning/advanced analytics.
- Excellent Python skills, including experience with common data science libraries (e.g., PyTorch, scikit-learn, pandas, polars).
- Experience working with large data sets, including solid knowledge of SQL and data modeling (e.g., for reporting, feature stores, or pipelines).
- Familiarity with statistical methods and common ML approaches (e.g., regression models, gradient boosting, time-series models).
- Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken; German language skills are a plus.
