Job Overview Summary

The Content Strategy Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a data-driven content strategy that aligns with our go-to-market (GTM) objectives, accelerating pipeline growth, lead conversion, and customer engagement across research sites and life sciences companies. This role requires a deep understanding of modern B2B content marketing, including SEO, SGE optimization, ABM content strategies, and multi-channel distribution. The ideal candidate blends strategic thinking and creative execution, managing content calendars and platforms, developing high-value assets, and leveraging analytics to optimize content for performance and impact.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Program Development

  • Develop and implement full-funnel content marketing strategies that support demand generation, ABM, and sales enablement.
  • Partner with sales, product marketing, and customer success to create targeted content that nurtures leads, accelerates deals, and improves retention.
  • Align content plans with ABM strategies, ensuring high-value content supports account engagement and conversion.
  • Stay ahead of SGE trends and AI-driven search changes, optimizing content for visibility and discoverability.

Content Development & Production

  • Oversee the production of high-impact content, including thought leadership articles, SEO-optimized blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, reports, webinars, videos, and interactive assets.
  • Ensure content is data-backed, insight-driven, and aligned with customer pain points and industry trends.

Content Performance & Optimization

  • Own the selection, implementation, and optimization of content management platforms and content performance analytics tools.
  • Track and analyze content effectiveness, leveraging SEO, engagement, and conversion analytics to refine content strategies.
  • Continuously optimize content based on data insights, ensuring maximum impact on organic traffic, lead generation, and ABM campaign effectiveness.
  • Implement A/B testing and content iteration to enhance performance.

Content Operations & Governance

  • Develop and enforce content governance guidelines, ensuring consistency and compliance with brand standards and industry regulations.
  • Maintain an organized content repository to maximize content reuse and efficiency.
  • Provide editorial oversight, ensuring a consistent brand voice and messaging across all channels.
  • Collaborate with brand communications on paid content distribution strategies, including sponsored content, media partnerships, and influencer collaborations.

Location

This role is open to candidates working remotely in the United States.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in B2B content strategy and marketing.
  • Proven track record in developing high-performing content marketing programs that support lead generation, pipeline acceleration, and customer retention.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, SGE, AI-driven search trends, and ABM content strategies.
  • Hands-on experience managing content across digital platforms (web, social, email, webinars, video, podcasts).
  • Proficiency in CMS platforms, SEO tools, and analytics platforms (Wordpress, SEMRush, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Experience leading cross-functional collaboration with sales, product marketing, and demand generation teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in enterprise software, SaaS marketing, or regulated industries
  • Proficiency in content repurposing and personalization for ABM strategies.
  • Familiarity with AI-generated content tools and automation.
  • Experience with video production, interactive content, and other multimedia formats.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to create compelling content for different personas and buying stages.
  • Data-driven mindset, with the ability to interpret analytics and optimize content accordingly.

Physical and Mental Requirements

  • Sit or stand for extended periods of time at stationary workstation

The base salary range for this role is $​78,200​ - $133,000​. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience and may vary from the amounts listed above. This position may also be eligible for a variable bonus in addition to base salary as well as health coverage, paid holidays, and other benefits.
