Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Understand and optimize data structure to drive consistent data capture and reporting.
  • Lead situations where new data modeling is required to support the business.
  • Follow the best practices as defined by Data Engineering to support Business Analytics needs.
  • Drive collaboration with the identification of required individuals necessary for identified resolutions.
  • Work with the Business and Product Management team to ensure appropriate requirements are captured and documented.
  • Support the architect of a solution to support analytics needs.
  • Understanding of all development in process, even if being owned by data engineering, for appropriate tracking and project updates.
  • Participate in release management and deployment, where necessary.
  • Monitor data feeds and engage with data engineering to resolve issues.

Location

This role is open to candidates working remotely or hybrid in India.

Basic Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in data science, Information Science, or a related area of experience (minimum educational background).
  • 1-3 years of experience with a strong focus on SQL coding and system and data feed monitoring.
  • Proficiency in both technical and soft skills, including:

Technical Skills

  • Excel – advanced
  • Snowflake – advanced
  • SQL - advanced
  • dbt – advanced
  • GitHub

Soft Skills

  • Strong Presentation skills (advanced level).
  • Excellent Business analysis skills (advanced level).
  • Demonstrate proficiency in making effective, well-reasoned decisions
  • Demonstrate proficiency in end-user requirements gathering
  • Ability to collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills, with ability to adapt and navigate change
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • JSON, Python, JSON, and other coding experience.

Physical and Mental Requirements

  • Sit or stand for extended periods of time at a stationary workstation
  • Regularly carry, raise, and lower objects of up to 10 Lbs.
  • Learn and comprehend basic instructions
  • Focus and attention to tasks and responsibilities
  • Verbal communication; listening and understanding, responding, and speaking
