Advancis

The story of Advancis began in 1994 when founder Hartmut Nöll decided to break free from the constraints of the corporate world to develop his own vision of a security and building management system. Starting as a small, independent software house, the company launched the first version of its flagship product, WinGuard, that same year. In 2001, Jan Meiswinkel joined the company, bringing his expertise in preventive fire protection planning. This partnership marked a turning point, combining software development prowess with strategic sales and market expansion.

Over the next three decades, Advancis evolved from a local German startup into a global leader in the Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) sector. The company's philosophy of 'constant growth through sustainable solutions' drove the continuous development of WinGuard into an open integration platform that now unifies disparate security, building, and communication systems. Today, Advancis operates from its headquarters in Langen, Germany, with international subsidiaries and a vast network of certified partners, supporting over 2,500 installations in more than 70 countries worldwide.
