United States onlyAs our next Commercial Counsel, you will be a key architect of the legal framework that powers ActiveCampaign's global growth, refining contractual workflows, and leveraging legal operations to transform'redlines' into streamlined, automated processes.
Requirements
- 4-year college degree and a Juris Doctorate degree
- Active membership in good standing with a State Bar
- 3+ years of experience as an attorney, focusing on transactional, commercial, or corporate law with strong transactional experience (preferably with a SaaS or technology company)
- Proven experience negotiating contracts across various risk and value levels
- Experience designing and maintaining legal resources, such as iterating upon contractual playbooks
- Prior experience with tech industry clients and familiarity with global data privacy and data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
- Familiarity with contract management software (CMS), with specific experience in Ironclad and/or Zip (preferred but not strictly required)
- Experience advising clients with global operations, understanding the nuances of international business
- Excellent research and project management skills, with the ability to navigate complex legal landscapes
- High levels of organization and self-motivation, with the capability to track and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner
