ActionKit

ActionKit is advocacy, fundraising, and online organizing software designed for progressive organizations around the world. The platform enables organizations to create and manage email campaigns, petitions, fundraising pages, events, and advocacy tools. ActionKit is built by We Also Walk Dogs Inc., a company named after a 1941 short story by Robert Heinlein about a company that specialized in solving impossible problems.

The software is used by some of the largest and most successful progressive organizations including MoveOn.org, CREDO Action, 350.org, Everytown for Gun Safety, the Natural Resources Defense Council, and ONE. ActionKit provides powerful features including intuitive email setup with flexible targeting, secure fundraising with one-time and recurring donation capabilities, advocacy tools for petitions and letter-writing campaigns, event management for distributed organizing, and comprehensive data analytics with built-in reports and SQL query access.

In May 2019, ActionKit was acquired by EveryAction and became part of the NGP VAN family. The acquisition was led by EveryAction CEO Stu Trevelyan, with ActionKit continuing to be headed by We Also Walk Dogs CEO Patrick Kane. ActionKit is known for its reliability, responsive support, and commitment to only working with progressive non-profits and political organizations.
