The client is a leading Consulting company from Germany. They are now looking to expand the portfolio of products for existing and new clients. You’ll be working on a project which is data-driven.
Your profile
- Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
— At least 5 years of programming experience in any major programming language (e.g., Java, Golang, Python), including lead responsibility for team members.
— Proficiency in implementing tools and infrastructure, incl. Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
— Strong skills in Linux OS, Docker, k8s, networking, HTTP, SQL, cloud native services observability.
— Ability to provide in-depth evaluation and analysis of unique complex technology issues.
— Experience with the Azure cloud platform, services, and computing (AWS and/or GCP experience is nice to have).
— Experience in management and provision delivery pipelines through code rather than manual processes.
— Experience with the development of cloud operating models and cloud migration methodologies and processes.
— Understanding of key security and networking concepts and working knowledge of concepts like Web Application Firewalls, Cloud and OS security.
— Good knowledge of development principles (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban) and development tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
— Experience in managing no-SQL and SQL databases, troubleshooting the issue is a very nice to have.
— Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
— Ability to interact in a highly dynamic environment.
— Ability to guide and advise product development teams on direction in technology and software development practices.
Your tasks
- Setting up the necessary tools and cloud infrastructure in Azure.
— Establishing and managing development, testing, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operations.
— Reviewing and validating the software code developed in projects.
— Applying troubleshooting techniques and resolving code bugs.
— Creating and evolving continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for existing and new services.
— Writing clean, secure, and reliable code in short, frequent increments.
— Overseeing the management of IT infrastructure.
— Providing on-call services as needed.
- Ensuring system availability and performance.
— Integrating and managing application elements like APIs, libraries, SDKs, etc.
— Demonstrating strong knowledge of scripting, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), OS administration, and Git workflows.
— Designing and maintaining tools and processes for continuous software integration, delivery, and deployment.
— Collaborating closely with developers and testers.
— Ensuring a smooth, efficient, and error-free software development life cycle.
— Maintaining overall system performance and availability.
