Zubeda Khatoon

I’m a PhD candidate in Cancer Therapeutics focused on translational oncology, tumou r-targeted prodrugs, and nanoparticle drug delivery systems that support safer, more efficient chemotherapeutics. I translate complex datasets into clear scientific communications through publications, posters, and oral presentations.

In my doctoral research, I designed and delivered key project aims including the development of nanoparticle encapsulation for the tumour-targeted prodrug, ICT2588. I critically evaluated scientific literature, study designs, and experimental outcomes, and I optimised encapsulation efficiency analysis with robust controls to protect validity and integrity of data.

I’ve communicated my work across international and national conferences, including AACR and the Spanish Conference on Biomedical Applications of Nanomaterials, and I’ve earned recognition such as a Best Presentation Award and Best Poster Award at early-careers meetings. I also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including discussion with Stanford University, to explore research direction and potential clinical impact.

Now, I’m seeking to transition into a Medical Writer role to bridge science and clinical practice and contribute to improved patient outcomes. I bring strong understanding of clinical trial design and a commitment to ethical standards, including willingness to undertake GCP certification upon appointment, alongside stakeholder-focused communication and strategic problem-solving.
