@pammo
I translate health policy, digital health and research into clear, patient-centred content.
What I'm looking for
I translate complex health policy, digital health and research into clear, accessible, patient-centred content. My work focuses on equitable access to care and the barriers people face across health systems and service pathways.
Through independent medical writing projects, I am building a portfolio covering digital health, ethical AI and healthcare accessibility. I produce policy briefs, clinical summaries and health communication articles in clinical, patient-facing and policy styles.
I created a post-discharge care navigation resource after analysing NHS England, CQC and NAO policy and identifying gaps in communication and service coordination. I designed the guide to improve understanding of post-discharge services and shared it with local organisations in Manchester.
I am particularly drawn to hormonal health, menstrual health, substance use and recovery, health literacy, and inequalities in care. Alongside freelance and collaborative writing projects, I am seeking entry-level medical communications opportunities where I can help make health information more understandable and inclusive.
