At Softtech, I was a core developer on the team that built the backend-for-frontend of the bank's API Developer Portal from scratch. It brought 23+ REST endpoints and services behind one secured layer, and the portal was recognized as Best Bank for Open Banking at The Banker Technology Awards.
I contributed to the portal's security layer, including JWT validation, two-factor flows, and security hardening. I also led the migration of 40+ production banking APIs to the bank's central IAM token policy, rolling them out API by API with config-driven security definitions and one-line rollback.
I re-implemented the fraud service in Spring Boot when the DataPower integration appliance was retired, and developed a Kafka-based centralized logging pipeline with Kibana dashboards. In a Java 21 migration pilot using the company's in-house AI coding agent, I caught build and Jackson 3 issues, brought the pilot to 819 passing tests, and designed a verification gate and roadmap for the remaining services.
