Zain Soliman
@zainsoliman
Robotics and Intelligent Systems engineer experienced in AI, computer vision, and mechatronics.
What I'm looking for
I am a Robotics and Intelligent Systems engineer with strong foundations in AI, computer vision, control and mechatronics, focused on building real-world medical and rehabilitation robotic systems. I have hands-on experience from dynamic modeling and simulation to ROS-based implementation and physical prototyping.
During my B.Eng. I designed and trained an AI model for Grand X-Ray SLAM, achieving AUROC 0.925–0.927 through cross-validation and ensembling, and developed a therapist-mirroring hand exoskeleton with vision-based control that progressed from simulation to real prototyping.
I combine research-driven development with practical engineering: analyzing limitations (friction, 3D-printing tolerances, encoder fabrication), researching robust quadcopter control methods, and contributing to HealthTech innovation with a results-oriented, collaborative approach.
