Backend engineer building production Java/Spring Boot services and applied-AI systems (RAG pipelines, LLM guardrails). At Visa, I built an event-driven alert service that replaced legacy polling and reduced processing latency by approximately 4 minutes. I also developed backend services for REACT, enabling teams to retrieve settlement exposure and operational insights through natural-language queries.
I engineered a RAG pipeline that reduced LLM context from approximately 120K to 3–5K tokens, and contributed 20+ merged pull requests to Public Invention, Krake Firmware. I also built Bouncer, an open-source FastAPI middleware that redacts PII, blocks prompt injection, and validates LLM responses against Pydantic schemas.
