At the University of Idaho, I built Python automation against the PAN-OS API to evaluate network traffic and detect conflicts across 900+ firewall access policies, saving hours of manual review per cycle.

I also built data pipelines and a Python visualization platform integrated with the university’s network management system to surface traffic patterns and policy bottlenecks. As a research assistant, I served as main instructor at the PacTrans 2025 conference and coauthored a comparative taxonomy published in IEEE Access 2025.

I build AI systems with human oversight, including a Trust and Safety Copilot that produces risk-scored review packets, enforces fairness guardrails through failing tests, and records AI recommendations and human overrides in an immutable SQLite audit log.

My projects also include NetworkSage, a multi-agent SOC analyst using LangGraph, threat-intelligence APIs, RAG, and evaluation harnesses to investigate alerts, plus an explainable CNN-LSTM packet-classification system that achieved 98% accuracy.
