yonatan Berhanu
@yonatanberhanu
Data Quality Assurance & analytics specialist using machine learning to turn complex datasets into evidence-based decisions.
What I'm looking for
I’m a results-driven analytical professional who uses machine learning, data analytics, and digital transformation to deliver actionable insights. I translate complex datasets into reliable, decision-ready outputs through structured, evidence-based approaches.
In my current role as a Data Quality Assurance Specialist (Betting Platform — Cambodia, Remote), I designed and executed systematic QA across large operational datasets. I identified inconsistencies, reduced error rates in real-time reporting environments, and built scalable verification frameworks that strengthened data reliability across multiple concurrent work streams.
Earlier, I developed an ANN model for drought forecasting as part of my MSc Thesis (Tekeze River Basin, Ethiopia). Using multivariate hydrological and climatic datasets, I improved prediction accuracy with hypothesis formulation, model validation, and sensitivity analysis—skills I continue to apply as I expand into advanced analytics and digital transformation through my Thunderbird (ASU) program.
