Yonas Getahun

I've built web, mobile, and backend systems for Cheche Systems, Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, Tria PLC, and Mizan Tepi University. My work supports public services, appointment booking, bus operations, banking integrations, licensing, and real estate.

At Cheche Systems, I developed Qetero, an appointment booking and queue management platform serving DARS across 18 branches, and contributed to e-services, e-ticketing, bus reservation, and terminal management products. I build Node.js/Express backends, React and Next.js web applications, and React Native mobile apps, with PostgreSQL, Docker, authentication, payment, notifications, and security built into delivery.

At Tria PLC, I developed cross-platform React Native applications for health licensing workflows and real estate listings, including telebirr payments, inspection forms, GPS and map features, image galleries, and user profiles.

Previously, I customized and deployed internal systems and payment integrations at Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, and built an institutional repository and university website at Mizan Tepi University. I'm motivated by scalable, user-focused products and continuous learning across the full software development lifecycle.
