In my Computer Science TCC, I built a network IDS/IPS from scratch in Python with Scapy, with configurable detection and prevention modes and automatic blocking of malicious traffic via iptables.
In the Hackone SOC, Networks & Cyber bootcamp, I configured and operated a simulated SOC environment, working with network services, FortiGate firewall policies, and SecurityOne. I also ran response playbooks, blocked IPs, and isolated hosts in a multi-tenant SOAR operation.
Through practical exercises on LetsDefend and TryHackMe, I triaged simulated SOC L1 alerts and applied the Cyber Kill Chain to identify, prioritize, and escalate incidents. I also analyzed logs from an RDP brute-force attempt to identify attack patterns and evidence of compromise.
My other hands-on security work includes penetration testing, web application security exercises, and digital forensics. I collected RAM evidence with Belkasoft RAM Capturer, analyzed disks with Autopsy, and practiced reverse engineering x86/x64 Assembly with x64dbg.
