Yeabsra Mekonnen

I am a highly motivated medical graduate who earned my Doctor of Medicine with High Honors from ECUSTA, committed to delivering evidence-based patient care and continuous professional growth.

I have focused clinical interests in neurology—particularly stroke and seizure management—as well as acute care, preventive medicine, and patient education.

Throughout medical school I participated in seminars on stroke and seizure management, contributed to a student resource bot project to improve academic access, and was an active member of the medical student association supporting peer learning and professional development.

I bring strengths in clinical reasoning, academic research, medical presentation, teamwork, digital literacy, and time management, and I am eager to apply these skills in a clinical training environment where I can grow as a physician.
