Ambitious MPhys Physics student skilled in computational physics, machine learning, and strategic consulting.
What I'm looking for
I am an MPhys Physics student at the University of Oxford, expecting First-Class Honours, with a strong academic record and a passion for computational research and applied problem solving.
I have hands-on experience in first-principles calculations and DFT workflows, running remote VASP computations and analysing results with Wannier90 and WannierTools, gained during a research internship at Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
I have built machine learning models for real-world data problems, including a U-Net based semantic segmentation pipeline for satellite cloud detection, and I am comfortable managing Python environments with CONDA and prototyping model architectures using Keras.
Alongside technical skills, I bring consulting experience, mentoring and leadership roles, and a track record of awards that reflect strong analytical ability, communication, and organisational skills.
