What I'm looking for

I seek academic roles that combine teaching and research, emphasize student mentorship, support digital learning and AI integration, and offer opportunities to develop curriculum and contribute to scholarly projects.

I am an Assistant Professor in invertebrate zoology with a long record of lecturing, supervising undergraduate and postgraduate research, and publishing original research. I blend traditional laboratory instruction with modern digital pedagogy to engage students and advance scholarly knowledge.

I have led curriculum development, participated in departmental planning, and contributed to research projects such as amphipod biodiversity and barcoding funded by STIFA (STDF-YRF: 30198). I emphasize rigorous scientific methodology, student mentorship, and practical skills training.

For more than seven years I have designed and delivered online learning, integrating AI tools to personalize content, assess progress, and support continuous student development. I seek opportunities to apply my expertise in education, research, and digital learning to inspire students and contribute to academic growth.
