Yasmeen Al-salim

I am an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Environmental & Pollution Engineering, Basra Engineering Technical College, with a strong academic background in environmental engineering and radiological safety. My research focuses on the effects of storage and distribution on drinking water quality, as well as innovative solutions in radiological shielding and waste management.

I have a PhD in Environmental Engineering and have published several articles in reputable journals. My teaching experience includes courses on radiological pollution, fluid mechanics, and occupational safety. I am passionate about integrating AI and machine learning into radiation detection and risk assessment.

In addition to my academic roles, I have completed numerous training courses and workshops, including OSHA, risk assessment, and advanced occupational safety. I am committed to advancing environmental sustainability and safety through research, education, and practical applications.
