I’m a results-driven Network Security Engineer who transitioned into cybersecurity through self-directed study, hands-on lab work, and certifications (CEH & CCNA). I focus on converting security signals into actionable outcomes by aligning detection work to MITRE ATT&CK and strengthening defensive controls.

In my production experience, I monitored network traffic across 200+ endpoints and triaged 30+ security alerts daily using Splunk and Wireshark, escalating high-severity incidents within SLA windows. I configured Cisco and Fortinet firewalls, supported IDS/IPS tuning, and mapped observed threat patterns to MITRE ATT&CK tactics to improve detection fidelity.

I also run vulnerability assessments using Nessus and OpenVAS across 50+ hosts, producing structured severity-based reports with remediation recommendations. Alongside this, I’ve built Splunk SIEM pipelines and SPL-based correlation alerts in my lab, while keeping 100% of incidents and configuration changes documented for clear audit trails.
