Yash Shahane

I am a mechanical design engineer with hands-on experience in product engineering, CNC/VMC machining, and steam systems engineering. I have worked on part modeling, G-code/M-code programming, tooling selection, GD&T, and machine measurement practices while supporting customers such as Bosch, Wipro, and BOBST.

At Forbes Marshall I deepened product knowledge of steam systems, worked with Solid Edge and AutoCAD for 3D modelling and drafting, and learned ERP (Oracle R12) and project execution processes. I participated in product engineering of safety relief valves including assembly and testing, and applied design standards such as ASME, API and IBR.

I hold a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering and practical project experience including experimental tensile validation on carbon-fiber versus mild-steel shafts. I seek roles where I can apply mechanical design, manufacturing and product development skills to deliver robust engineered solutions and continue growing in product engineering and manufacturing domains.
