@yashilasharma
PhD candidate in Economics with a focus on trade and growth.
What I'm looking for
I am currently pursuing a PhD in Economics at the Central University of Himachal Pradesh, where my research focuses on the impact of trade openness and foreign direct investment on economic growth and inequalities in the Global South. My academic journey has been enriched by a Master's degree in Economics from the same institution, where I explored the relationship between inflation rates and economic growth in India.
Prior to my doctoral studies, I completed my Bachelor's degree in Applied Economics at the University of Pannonia, Hungary. My experience as a Student Assistant at the Faculty of Business and Economics allowed me to develop strong organizational and communication skills while assisting faculty members in various academic tasks. I have also contributed to several publications, analyzing trade practices and the financial conditions of international students during the COVID-19 pandemic.
