Responsible for training in all radiology modalities including cross-sectional imaging, mammography, real-time imaging (ultrasound, fluoroscopy), and interventional radiology. Participated in tutorials, journal clubs, and attended radiology congresses. Provided weekly radiology tutorials to Wits medical students.

Worked as a medical officer in the pediatrics department, primarily in the HIV clinic. Collected medical histories, thoroughly examined patients, ordered tests, and determined appropriate treatment courses. Provided counseling for mother and child patients.

Key responsibilities included patient clinical care in admission wards of Pediatrics and Internal Medicine departments, OPD, and providing emergency care at casualty. Participated in continued medical education and CPD activities. Registered by HPCSA as a general practitioner after this year.

Carried out patient assessments including history taking, clinical assessment, ordering lab exams, and subsequent patient management. Performed various emergency procedures such as intercostal drain insertion, central venous line, and endotracheal intubation. Assisted in surgical procedures and performed biopsies.

Successfully completed FRCR Part 1 and 2A examinations, demonstrating a strong foundation in radiological sciences and image interpretation. Currently preparing for the FRCR Part 2B examination, aiming to achieve full fellowship.

Completed a comprehensive radiology registrarship, gaining extensive practical experience across all radiology modalities including cross-sectional imaging, mammography, and ultrasound. Conducted and completed a medical research thesis titled "Association between the findings on computed tomography of the brain (CTB) and clinical features in patients suspected to have raised intracranial pressure.

Completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree, acquiring a strong foundation in medical sciences and clinical practice. The program involved rigorous coursework and practical training essential for a medical career.
