Compiled and harmonized state-level land-use data from USDA ERS, USDA NASS, USGS NLCD, and Census of Agriculture to support evidence-based analysis of agricultural land allocation. Assessed land use associated with animal agriculture and documented assumptions, data gaps, and classification choices in concise internal memos.

Collaborated with clinicians, health policy experts, and graduate students on projects focused on reducing the healthcare system's carbon emissions, including an umbrella review on measures to reduce low value care, examining progress on COP26 health programme, and the relationship between healthcare workforce density and climate risk indices.

Led data collection efforts for around 70 home visits, including water sample collection and questionnaires for a Superfund center study on 1,4-Dioxane exposure in Long Island, New York. Coordinated home visit preparation and sample storage with a team.

Led collective analyses of data from multiple cohorts to examine associations of prenatal smoking, pregnancy conditions, and PFAS exposures with child outcomes. Performed analyses using R, Stata, and SAS, and authored method sections of manuscripts.

Constructed analytical data by matching transplant recipients with controls on waitlist using incidence density sampling, and balanced covariates using inverse probability of treatment weighting to estimate survival benefit of deceased donor kidney transplantation using Stata. Compared the estimated survival benefit from this novel method with established methods and found comparable results.

Conducted random sampling to select venues to observe for smoke-free and point-of-sale compliance in Lanzhou and Qingdao, China. Assembled training materials and delivered training sessions for data collectors, performed data quality assurance and control check, and compiled descriptive statistics of compliance rate by venues and jurisdictions.

Investigated the paradoxical association of diabetes status with incident abdominal aortic aneurysm using Cox proportional hazard regression models. Evaluated the relationship between duration of incident diabetes and the risk of abdominal aortic aneurysm by modeling diabetes as a time-varying exposure.

Modified literature search strategies for Cochrane, Embase, POPLINE, Web of Science and Scopus database for a systematic review on child and adolescent causes of deaths in low-and-middle income countries. Screened over 50,000 abstracts, reviewed over 500 full texts, and extracted data from over 20 articles.

Created a de-identified analytical dataset, codebook and double coded the analyses using R for a project evaluating the impact of physician orders for life-sustaining treatment (POLST) on hospital care. Authored method section of the manuscript.

Investigated the prospective association of sleep duration with the risk of significant weight gain, body mass index and waist circumference in participants from the China Koodrie Biobank (CKB) study using logistic regression models. Performed analyses using SAS and authored a manuscript.

Designed a questionnaire filling profile using Epidata3.1, inputted 120 questionnaires on a weight control program, and suggested staff do quality control on scene to guarantee questionnaires are correctly filled out. Completed a literature review on Pertussis, delivered an oral presentation, and engaged in epidemiological investigation on a Pertussis case.

Investigated conference documents and reports on agenda, which consist of Implementation of the International Health Regulation (2005), Pandemic influenza preparedness, and Smallpox eradication, from Executive Boards meetings and World Health Assembly between 2013 and 2015. Generated four statement drafts regarding the above-mentioned agenda for National Health and Family Planning Commission.

Rotated between different departments, including Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Gynecology and Community Clinic. Shadowed doctors for ward rounds every day, helped with patients' admission and discharge, updated 10 patients' medical profile during their hospitalization, and served as second assistant in three surgeries in department of Surgery.
