Aman Sharma

I'm Aman Sharma — a full-stack engineer and product builder based in India.

Most recently I designed and shipped a multi-store hyperlocal delivery marketplace for India that's live on iOS and Android for both customers and merchants. It lets customers order from multiple local stores in a single cart and supports delivery, pickup, and in-store scan-and-go.

I work end-to-end across the stack:

— Backend: NestJS, TypeORM, PostgreSQL with PostGIS, Redis, Server-Sent Events for real-time order dispatch, Firebase Cloud Messaging, and SMS / OTP integration. I focus on transactional integrity, audit trails, and operational depth.

— Web: Two Angular 19 dashboards — one for store admins, one for super admins — built with Material, standalone components, and signals.

— Mobile: Customer, Merchant, and Rider apps on Ionic 8 / Capacitor 8, shipped to iOS and Android with native maps and push notifications.

— Infra: Azure AKS, NGINX Ingress, Azure DevOps CI/CD with dev / uat / prod promotion, in-cluster Postgres + Redis, hourly pg_dump backups, automated weekend scale-down for cost control.

The work I'm proudest of is the operational maturity: cross-store reviews moderation with public reply, rider withdrawal dispute lifecycles with real-time updates, inventory health with per-product reorder points, an activity-log audit trail with 30-day retention, impersonation flows with cryptographic safeguards, and force-update gating for mobile apps.

I think a lot about marketplace dynamics — rider economics, dispute trust, two-sided cold-starts, and how product detail shapes the unit economics of a hyperlocal business.

I'm comfortable working fully async, taking ownership of ambiguous problems, and shipping at a high pace. I'm open to Senior / Staff engineering, Founding Engineer, or Technical Co-founder remote roles — especially in marketplaces, logistics, fintech, or any product where deep full-stack ownership and fast iteration matter more than narrow specialization.
