@vuonglu
I research smallholder climate adaptation, livelihoods, and social capital through rigorous fieldwork and data analysis.
What I'm looking for
I investigate how social capital shapes climate adaptation and livelihoods for smallholder and ethnic-minority farming households in Vietnam.
For my magna cum laude MSc thesis at Ghent University, I designed and administered a structured household survey in Ha Giang and used binary logistic regression, Poisson regression, and PCA in R to analyze climate-adaptation outcomes.
My fieldwork spans apple growers in Belgium, dairy farmers and farm shops in France, and cooperative and household research across Vietnam. I build relationships with farmers, cooperatives, local officers, and government stakeholders to collect reliable, grounded evidence.
Previously, I verified seller identity and compliance at Amazon in a high-volume environment, and founded a direct-sourcing food venture connecting Japanese sweet potato growers with the Vietnamese market.
