At DASA, I extracted DNA and RNA from biological samples for genetic testing and supported quality control and standardization of laboratory processes.

In my postgraduate bioinformatics projects, I used Python and Pandas to clean, transform, and analyze biological data, including data on bacterial resistance, viromes, and microorganism identification. I also ran genotyping pipelines and used PCA to explore patterns and variability.

I used FastQC, Kraken, QIIME, and Linux/Bash in bioinformatics workflows, and applied computational methods while participating in a synthetic biology project for the iGEM Competition. I’m seeking an entry-level opportunity in Data Analytics where I can apply data analysis and my knowledge of the health sector.
