What I'm looking for

I’m an immediate joiner and open to full-time, contract, or internship roles. I’m comfortable working on backend APIs, especially with security (JWT/RBAC). Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Kerala—or fully remote—works for me.

I’m a self-trained Python backend developer with a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, focused on building secure, production-style APIs. I enjoy turning real requirements into clean, maintainable code that works end-to-end.

Right now, I’m building a live Job Portal API using FastAPI, MySQL, SQLAlchemy ORM, and JWT-based authentication with role claims. I designed 19 REST endpoints across 5 routers for Job Seeker, Recruiter, and Admin roles, and enforced RBAC at the service layer using composable FastAPI dependencies like get_current_user() and require_admin().

I put a lot of care into correctness and reliability: a normalized 8-table MySQL schema, a 4-CTE skill-matching query for recommendations, Pydantic validators with custom regex rules, and 25+ custom exception classes mapped to HTTP status codes. I also implemented soft delete (status = DELETED), dynamic updates for non-None fields, and atomic transactions for multi-step writes.

I work comfortably through codebases and real-world projects—locally and beyond—using tools like Docker, Swagger/OpenAPI for immediate testing, and Pytest for unit and integration-style coverage of status codes and RBAC rejection behavior. I’m open to backend roles and especially like working on open-source projects.
