What I'm looking for

I want to build backend distributed systems and API platforms in Go—owning services, improving reliability and observability, and partnering across teams. I value strong engineering standards and practical AI-assisted workflows.

I’m a backend software engineer with 4+ years at Progress Software (Chef), where I built foundational Go microservices for the Chef 360 platform and grew from SE I to SE II, then to Senior Engineer I.

As a service owner, I deliver scalable systems end-to-end—from API design and OpenAPI-driven contracts to production hardening across PostgreSQL, distributed caching, observability, and Kubernetes.

I’ve owned key platform capabilities including the User Accounts IAM layer (JWT/SSO/RBAC, multi-tenant org management), License Management entitlement verification, and the Platform Log service with MinIO-backed ingestion and real-time streaming APIs.

I’m also an early adopter of AI-assisted engineering workflows, using tools like GitHub Copilot and Atlassian MCP to accelerate delivery and improve developer consistency across cross-team repos.

Built the Platform Log Service for the Chef 360 platform, including MinIO-backed log ingestion and a real-time HTTP streaming API, and added protections to prevent consumer overload.
